After launching and learning from valuable feedback, Majlisku was excited to relaunch with a fresh look, mission, and vision. I created a brand strategy and identity that resonates with people planning events, making it easier and more enjoyable for them
Challenges
80% of young adults struggle with guest list decisions in wedding planning
Malaysian weddings today tend to be smaller and more intimate than before. Unlike in the past, where inviting many people was a tradition, now younger generations prefer smaller weddings to save money and invite only close friends and family, partly because loved ones aren't all in one place anymore and living expenses are higher

Respondents of my surveys said that they find it most challenging to determine their guest list and  manage pax that align with their budget and venue limitations while avoiding conflicts with parents and relatives.

By developing a user-friendly platform that allowed hosts to create personalized guest lists and send invitations directly from the same space, I aimed to eliminate the pain points associated with the traditional methods of using Excel sheets and third party digital invites.

Gathering feedback from users, we've received heartfelt thanks for our small team's ability to redefine how people celebrate their special occasions with their loved ones.

While this endeavor is deeply personal, it's also been an incredible learning journey. In the process, I've delved into diverse areas of UX such as product development, honed my skills in UX writing and marketing, and gained invaluable insights by directly engaging with users as their support.
